This enables a root cause analysis to be performed on the captured PROFIBUS packets which aid’s in the identification of complex issue(s).

Automatically-generated Derived Function Block logic also provides advanced PROFIBUS DPV1 acyclic message pass-through capability. Acyclic messaging allows an M340 or Quantum to request extended slave data and diagnostics, as well as access slave-specific special functions.
