1560-PDP

The ProSoft 1560-PDP PROFIBUS DP Module is designed to allow PROFIBUS DP based PLCs to interface directly to the Rockwell Automation family of SCANport compatible devices allowing high speed access to the operating status and control parameters, as well as the parameter table.

Features and Benefits

The 1560-PDP module is simple to use, requiring only the setting of several dip-switch options. The parameters from the Rockwell Automation devices are pre-mapped to simplify reading and writing using standard commands. Use of Input and Output Data has been optimized to enhance Control and Status monitoring performance as well as access to the SCANport Datalinks.

Applications

The 1560-PDP has been designed specifically to allow Rockwell Automation SCANport devices to interface with Siemens PLC and/or any host that supports the PROFIBUS DP protocol. As such, possible applications of the 1560-PDP product exist in nearly every sector of industry.
